Software Engineer

We are seeking a Software Engineer to lead and develop capability and solutions. The requirement to grow the Sofware Engineering team.

What you will do

• Proposing and evaluating alternative technical approaches to delivering prime contract capability and systems to the customer.
• Developing the solution architecture for optimum cost effectiveness.
• Developing a combination of systems and software solutions.
• Work with the Project Manager to estimate the cost of solutions.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience of dealing with customers at a senior technical level 
• Experience of estimating costs and technical risk for each solution approach 
• Experience of electronic systems including an understanding of interoperability
• Experience in C#, MySQL and Scrum

• Ability to understand customer's business / technical needs and the ability to translate them into a technical solution, using language that customers can understand
